Louis Vuitton bid farewell to Marc Jacobs.
Marc Jacobs first joined Louis Vuitton in 1997, when the brand was well known for their luxury leather goods and travel bags. He joined as creative director and has led the brand through dramatic and fantastic changes.
The SS14 show in Paris was his final show, Marc Jacobs brought together influences from his previous 16 years at Louis Vuitton. "Jacobs dedicated the collection to the many women who've touched or influenced him during his decade and a half in Paris, including designer muses Coco Chanel, Rei Kawakubo, and Miuccia Prada. You saw bits and pieces of their work in this collection, in addition to callbacks to his own greatest hits." - Style.com
